What we offer
The Attic Academy offers homeschooling families a micro-hybrid educational option rooted in a Christian world view and informed by classical education principles. While the parent remains the primary educator and organizer of their student's education, The Attic Academy offers weekly sessions to enrich student's annual homeschool goals.
We offer two home education instruction plans: The Core and The Scholar. Three-hour sessions are held two or three days weekly in whimsical, dedicated homeschool classrooms within our country home and are intentionally limited in size.
Rebecca’s instruction focuses on communications, utilizing the study of writing, rhetoric, literature, history, geography, vocabulary, grammar, and public speaking. Students engage in discussion-based learning designed to strengthen communication skills and intellectual curiosity through rich literature, historical ideas, thoughtful narration, and meaningful conversation. This approach is rooted in the classical traditions of cultivating wisdom, virtue, critical thinking, and eloquence, which find their fullest meaning in Christian truth and faith.
The Attic Academy also offers education consulting to families considering homeschooling, just embarking on their homeschooling journey, or experienced homeschooling families seeking fresh suggestions.
We have partnered with Step Up For Students (SUFS) and work with families who receive the FTC-PEP and the FES-UA scholarships. Tuition and fees can be paid directly through the Education Market Assistant platform within the Marketplace. Families who search Providers can find The Attic Academy's services listed and check out seamlessly with scholarship funds without submitting reimbursement requests.
